The backing ratio between pool tokens and their underlying assets is maintained on-chain. For example, when 1 ySol is backed by 1.4 SOL, this 1.4:1 ratio is recorded on-chain. By multiplying this ratio by the underlying asset's USD value, Synatra obtains accurate USD pricing for its pool tokens. This mechanism, powered by Switchboard oracles, enables seamless integration with DeFi protocols by providing reliable price feeds.
